Judgement and Parody of Techno-predictions

Life as an example to others Whilst returning home from an inconsequential place, I chanced upon Magan -- it is rarely that I find myself face to face with Magan of late. A dialogue was inevitable: A: I wonder if I will ever understand the meaning of life. M: Will triviality do as a reason ? Atleast your life can be useful to an observer. A: I hate to believe that 'guinea pig' can even be considered. Who will judge you M: Perhaps. You'll have to satisfy the ultimate judgement. A: If I've understood something from life thus far, it is that there's only one person capable of making the ultimate judgement and that is oneself. Future of technology I've deciphered the future of human beings, the era that's going to succeed and supercede the era of technology. I've seen the future ladies and gentlemen, hear and be enlightened. The next age is the age of Magic and Socery; and no, it's not the latest flick that's introduced this thought in me, but deep meditation, crystal gazing and statistical analysis. Wizadry and Magic will make useless all the technological innovations - who needs a petrol car when a broomstick can do ? - Will make useless physics - need an atom, poof, here it is - and will provide entertainment and a new culture. Wait for the dawn of the next era, and behold it's king, I.

Is the second part of the post supposed to be light?

And a question on the first half as well?
"judge what? and what for?"

Some notes on first two titles:

> A: I wonder if I will ever understand the meaning of life.
One's life has no meaning or purpose.

> M: Will triviality do as a reason ? Atleast your life can be useful to an observer.
Don't say like that. Atleast you can think that your life can be an example to another person. Perhaps you can think you're alive because it is needed that your life's experiences turn to learning for another person. (Perhaps because he's in close contact with you or you write your autobiography or someone writes your biography.)

> A: I hate to believe hat 'guinea pig' can even be considered.
How can you even think that my life is centered around life of another person ? I cannot believe that my life exists to impart learning to another induvidual and for no other purpose. Don't argue over this point.

[At this point Magan provides a second reason on why life isn't meaningless or without purpose.]

> M: Perhaps. You'll have to satisfy the ultimate judgement.
Let us consider the reason that you are alive because you're given a role to play in this life and after your death you are going to be judged how well you did it. A lot of religions advocate the idea that your actions will be judged upon your death.

> A: If I've understood something from life thus far, it is that there's only one person capable of making the ultimate judgement and that is oneself.
I don't think life is something that can be judged by an outsider.
That's because the choices that one made have a private meaning they cannot be discerned by another induvidual.

On what to be proud of

I'll say this and say nothing more: Think of what you're proud of: something that you've accomplished yourself or something that...
